A refreshing take on a worn out fad, iZombie, co-created by Veronica Mars mastermind Rob Thomas, follows Liv, a former med student who has the misfortune of being turned into a zombie after "the world's worst boat party". Taken over by a sudden desire to consume brains, she discovers that her new culinary tastes allow her to absorb the memories of those she eats. With an eccentric morgue attendant and prickly detective on her side, she uses her new abilities to solve murders. It's just a silly as it sounds, and it's all the better for it.
